Gah!

Well, the weekend was a bloody disaster, as usual. Didn't think there was going to be any occasions involving alcohol, but ended up having booze on Fri, Sat and Sun (although only about a bottle of wine in total).

Then there was the now traditional Shepherd Sunday Cheese Festival, and a cake at the garden centre (well, if there's a tea shop, you just have to).

I only drink coffee about twice a week, but yesterday I had a really horrible strong cup of instant that made me feel sooooooooo sick! Bleurgh - it really can't be good for you at all.

However, this week has been slightly better.
Monday
Banana and berry soy smoothie
Apple
Orange
W'meal pitta with houmous and grated carrot
Big huge Emma salad (leaves, tomato, avocado, blue cheese, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, olives, borlotti beans, sunflower seeds)
1.5 wholemeal pitta
2 squares G&B expresso

Tuesday
Museli with pumpkin seeds, dried fruit and yoghurt
Apple
Orange
W'meal pitta with houmous and salad
Mini pain au chocolat
Celery and blue cheese soup
Mushroom risotto

And I went swimming yesterday, and have done lots of walking too.

And the best thing is, I tried my wedding dress on over the weekend - and it still fits!!!!

Healthy, but too much (apart from one obvious thing)

Giant smoothie containing yog, rasps, mixed forest fruits, banana and soya milk
Walnuts and 4 dried apricots
Spinach soup with 2 slices wholemeal sunflower bread
Danish pastry (oops)
Fish pie with broccoli

Still no exercise, but I did do a load of walking as I had a day off. I walked round town for two hours to hide from my cleaner.

Tuesday

Well, it wasn't too bad, although I did go to my fav Italian for a meal, so was slightly naughty.

2 toast and marmite
Orange juice
Lentil and roast veg casserole
Apple
2 pears
2 mini oranges
Handful of pumpkin seeds
Bruschetta with spinach
Aubergine, tomato and mozarella pasta (v unhealthy indeed!)

Only managed a measly 25 minutes walking too. Pah!

However, for the second time in the past week, I went out and didn't drink! Well done me!

Back on track

And miraculously, I have lost weight! 3lbs off - weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Must have been a bit bloated or something yesterday.

Yesterday was a good day:
Banana
A teeny orange
Pear
Apple
Vegetable curry
Lentil and root veg casserole
2 slices grain bread

Plus swimming and walking.

I'll never be thin :-(

On Friday, I had a sneaky hop on the scales - and I had lost 2lbs!

Sadly, the usual weekend excesses have made me pile it all back on again.

Friday
2 toast and marmite, orange juice
Lasagne, chips and peas (???)
About a bottle of wine
Veg curry, rice, poppadoms, mini nan bread
Pineapple

Saturday
2 Quorn sausages, beans, toast, mushrooms, hash browns
Gnocchi with tomato sauce
4 glasses wine, 1 large bottle beer

Sunday
2 bagels
Nut roast, beans, carrots, cabbage, roast potatoes
Cheese and crackers and potato salad
Lots of little Easter eggs

Oh dear, oh dear.

Having such an energy slump at the moment too, so have a feeling I might be searching the house for chocolate when I get home. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!

Too much cheese

I can't remember everything I had to eat, but I wasn't absolutely dreadful. M did however win £100 on the Grand National, so we went out for dinner.

I had asparagus and mozzarella for a starter, then I had a very cheesy pizza as well. And I think I had already had a cheese sandwich that day. I didn't have bad cheesy dreams though, which was a miracle.

I've had lots of fruit and veg as well, lots of smoothies, freshly squeezed juice and salads. So even though I've eaten too much, it's been mainly good stuff.

Oops, I've just remembered the 2 fruit scones with butter and jam.

1 salmon fishcake, a hard boiled egg, green beans and purple sprouting brocolli
1 cup of G&B maya gold hot chocolate (which was yum!)

Tin mixed beans in tomato sauce with wholemeal roll
Brown rice, salmon fillet and two tons of purple sprouting brocolli

But still no exercise. Will start next week, I still feel a bit weedy.

I'm back too

I have been off sick after Easter with horrible lurgy. Unfortunately, it wasn't of the non-eating kind. Over Easter I have been mainly eating bread, cheese, butter and chocolate. I also haven't eaten much fruit and veg. Must do better.

I'm back and I'm fat!

Hello everyone!
Sez, I will join you on your new healthy regime, as I have ballooned to a whopping ?!*?**! stone and need to shift weight fast!

My aim is to cut out the sugar, dairy and alcohol, as these are definitely my 'problem' areas - I have had nothing but wine, chocolate and cheese for the past few weeks, hence the hideous state of my body.

Help!
