I am evil

I ate bad, bad things over the weekend.

Friday
2 toast with cherry jam
Jacket potato and beans
1/2 muffin
Olives
Spinach bruschetta
Veggie lasagne
Glass of wine

Exercise was 30 mins swimming.

Saturday
1.5 pain au chocolat
Veggie lasagne
Nachos and dips
Spicy chickpeas, veg dhansak, teeny bit of pilau rice, half a chapati
1 pint of ale, 1 pint of Hoegarden

Exercise was an hour walking the dog, plus an hour cleaning the house

Sunday
Pain au chocolat
1/2 pizza with mixed salad
Slice of banana bread
5 Jaffa Cakes
Nibbles (avocado, roasted tomatoes, corn on the cob, olives, houmous, few nachos)
Glass of wine

Exercise was one aerobics class, one Body Pump class, plus 90 minutes walking the dog, so I think treats were well-deserved.

PMT Munchies

PMT is bad on so many levels. I have pain so I don't want to exercise. I need sugar, so I want to eat.

2 slices wholemeal bread with houmous and tomatoes
Pumpkin and bean spaghetti
Slice of banana bread
Glass of wine

Exercise was one hour walking the dog.

Small piece of almond and apricot tart

Exercise was 1.5 miles walking to the train station.

Right, let's see if I can remember what I ate on the weekend

Friday
2 toast with marmite
Home-made veggie pizza with a bit of potato salad and a blob of houmous (carb-tastic day so far!)
Nectarine
Nachos and salsa
Glass of beer
Plate of healthy nibbles: vine leaves, olives, chargrilled mushrooms, artichokes, mini focaccia bread, butternut squash dip, potato salad

Exercise was 30 minutes swimming at the fab new gym, plus 3/4 hour walking around Roath Park with Blod.

Saturday
Can't even talk about it - too evil, although I did walk Blod for almost two hours in the Brecon Beacons, plus cleaned the house and trimmed a big hedge.

Sunday
1 toast and marmite
Nachos and salsa
Sweet potato stew with cous cous
2 squares Green and Blacks
Um... SEVEN Jaffa Cakes (medicinal, for PMT)
Glass of wine
Plate of healthy nibbles: vine leaves, olives, chargrilled mushrooms, artichokes, slice of bread, houmous

Exercise was... drum roll please... 1 aerobics class, half an hour swimming, one hour walking the dog! Wowsers.

Tuesday

OK, yesterday was not too bad at all. I did have a little bit of booze, but I was meeting a friend I hadn't seen for 13 years, so I definitely needed some Dutch Courage!

Weetabix minis with soy milk
Peach
Pasta with roasted veggies and tomato sauce, plus the teeniest sprinkling of parmesan
2 nectarines
1 large glass wine
Half a pint of Hoegaarden
Quorn fillet, jacket potato, peas

Exercise was 1.5 miles walking - fast!

I'm going to join a posh gym tonight, with outdoor and indoor swimming pools, plus loads of aerobics classes. It's expensive. Very expensive actually, but only what lots of people would spend on booze/fags/clothes in a month and it's good for my physical health (fitness) and mental health (endorphins), so am going for it guilt-free!

Right, I'm back on track

Yesterday's food:
Bowl of Weetabix Minis (v nice) with soy milk
Apple
Houmous, 2 mini w'meal pittas, tomato, a stuffed vine leaf, 3 falafel
Peach
Pasta with roasted veg and tomato sauce and the teeniest sprinkle of parmesan
Lots of tea, lots of water

Exercise: 45 minutes of power walking and throwing balls for the hound.

I've had enough

I'm sick of stuffing my face and then feeling guilty.

I'm sick of lacking in energy and motivation.

I'm sick of hating myself when I look in the mirror.

I'm sick of my face.

I'm sick of my body.

I'm fed up. Why can't I be thin?
