Thinner

I wasn't a perfect angel yesterday, but something must be going right as I could wear my 'tight' trousers today and they aren't as tight as they normally are.

Tuesday

Nana
2 satsumas
1 cup miso soup
left over kedgeree (not that much)
half a piece bread and butter
half a tin of sardines (sharing toddler's tea)
cheese and spinach omelette and salad
piece malt loaf with butter

Not terrible...

Monday

2 very small bananas
2 satsumas
tin pea and ham soup
1 slice maltloaf with butter
1/2 a slice bread and butter
some cubes of fried halloumi cheese
kedgeree

So I snacked before dinner :-(

I know it's not dreadful in the long scheme of things, but that kind of snacking is the kind that means a maintain rather than a loss in a week. Bother.

Must try harder!

On a mission

I've been a bit bad over the last 10 days or so. It's been a birthday and we've been away. I can't seem to get back on track at all.

I'm going away on Friday for a girly weekend and I'd like to drop a couple of pounds by then. So I need to be severely angelic this week.

I'm going to go to body harmony class tomorrow and go for a run on Friday morning. I am going to be angelic in the day (only fruit and soup allowed) and eat a normal dinner in the evening, with no snacking. And no booze at all until I'm at the airport on Friday.

Sunday

Nana
Satsuma
Packet of quavers
Tin of french onion soup
White baguette (very bad)
Pieces of cheese (very bad)
4 slices of malt loaf (very bad)
2 small slices of bread and butter
salmon
roasted veggies

So I need to be very careful and THINK before anything goes in my mouth!

Badly, badly wrong

Eek!

I don't know what came over me.

Wednesday

Nana
Orange
Oxtail soup
Miso soup
(so far so good)
2 pieces of toast and marmalade
1 piece of bread and butter
half a ham sandwich
large portion of haggis, mashed potato, carrots and gravy.

It's the white bread - it's addictive! You just can't stop at one piece.

And now I feel it's all going to go down hill from here.

I have Valentine's dinner tonight with booze (told husband not to cook anything to fattening/filling).

I have boozy birthday lunch out tomorrow.
I have a foodie/boozy weekend away for my birthday with 3 whole nights of feasting.

The plan is to be good as I possibly can for today. Go for a run tomorrow. Go swimming in the pool a lot over the weekend.

Sorry for going awol

I've had a bit of a stressful time, what with moving into temporary accommodation whilst our house is being rewired and a toddler with the plague. I've not been eating *that* well either. And I've been drinking too much. I have been doing a fair amount of exercise though, so I don't think the damage has been too bad.

But I'm back on track now!

Monday

Nana
Orange
Minestrone soup
Spaghetti carbonara (not great I know but considering I had hardly anything to eat the rest of the day, I think ok)
Glass of milk (got the urge for some reason)
v small bowl of honey nut loops (oops! But it was titchy - less that I'd give the toddler)
