I love my veg box

I got a marrow, kale, leek, onions, carrots, red pepper, courgette, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, broccoli, broad beans, french beans and string beans, a grapefruit, bananas, kiwi fruits, apples and pears. And all for £16. The trick is now to work out what to cook with it all. Any ideas for marrow anyone?

Yesterday I did 15000 steps. Exactly. I had to pace round the bedroom for about 5 minutes before I got into bed, but I got there.

Food wise was a bit snacky with something totally random thrown in.

Porridge with nuts, seeds, yog, dried fruit and soya milk
Green tea x3
3x emmenthal and pumpkin crackers, 2 of which were spread with mushroom pate
Quinoa salad with beans and feta cheese
Banana
Yoghurt
Hard boiled egg (why? how? what was I thinking?)
Risotto with chicken, mushrooms, onions, leek and kale (last 3 items from veg box)
Pear

Not bad apart from the 3 crackers and the hard boiled egg.

According to what I think "marrow" is, you can use it to make a nice soup. It could be a vegetable soup, in order to be more healthy :-)

For the rest, there is a lot of nice recipes in the Spanish and Greek tradition using vegetables. Why don´t you buy a recipes' book?

    Good luck with your goal!!
